The Ballad of Dusty Clydesdale is a narrative-led editorial developed and produced by DORPHNIS, rooted in character, texture, and atmosphere. The project explores a quiet, mythic Americana, where identity feels worn-in and time moves slowly.

Built through a focus on world-building and collaboration, the shoot brings together raw styling, grounded performance, and a restrained visual language to create something that feels both intimate and cinematic. There’s a tension between grit and softness throughout, allowing the story to unfold without forcing resolution.

At its core, the project reflects DORPHNIS’ approach to production: concept-driven, emotionally aware, and committed to creating work that feels lived-in rather than constructed.
